Satanic Temple's first international headquarters opens its doors in Salem, MA Friday
The Satanic Temple and its seven-and-a-half foot tall bronze statue of Baphomet are welcoming in members of the public to their first international headquarters in Salem.
The group opened their first official headquarters in the Witch City on Friday, September 23.
They are best known for attempting to get their one-ton goat-headed idol statue put next to the 10 Commandments monument on public grounds in Arkansas. Made in a Florida foundry, the bronze statue was trucked in from Detroit, its last location.
The statue is tucked away inside a large shed a few steps from the headquarters. To the left of the shed is a small headstone marking where a 12-year-old cat, adopted by a temple staffer, is buried.
