Sheldry Topp turned 72 this month
Waaaay back on 12/17/1962, he was sentenced to life in prison without the chance for parole for the crime of 1st degree murder which he committed earlier that year when he was 17.
"71: The age of Sheldry Topp, Michigan's oldest juvenile lifer. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole in 1962 in Oakland County at age 17 and has served 53 years in prison. "
