Toddler shot 2 other kids at Michigan home day care

Police say a toddler accidentally shot and wounded two other children at a home day care facility in suburban Detroit.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad says a preliminary investigation has determined that the toddler "accessed a handgun and the weapon discharged" at around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said Thursday that the wounded 3 years olds are in serious but stable condition at a hospital.

Haddad says the gun was kept in the Dearborn home. Several other children were in the home at the time of the shooting. They were taken to the police station to be reunited with their parents.

No one has been charged. Police say investigators plan to meet with prosecutors to determine whether charges will be brought.

5. I tried to watch it on MSNBC, but I had to turn it off.

He was thanking the DC Capital police officer who helped save his life,
and I could tell in my gut that he was dancing around the twisted logic
that he knew "A good man with a gun had shot back and saved my life"
when he heard the "gunshots of a different caliber" (puke in my mouth
moment) Of course, he completely dismissed the dissonant reality that
"if the other man with a gun did not have a gun, he never would have
shot me in the first place." Yay guns!

I presume that he went there. What a whore -- no shame at all.
He's no Gabby Giffords.

I had emailed both my state rep and state senator about situations like this and the need for harsh penalties but didn't get a response from either. One is a Dem and the latter is a Repub. I may write them again about this issue. No are no such thing as accidents in cases such as this.
