2/18 and 2/19 Occupy Minneapolis Re-Gathering Weekend

The Occupy Minneapolis RE-GATHERING WEEKEND
Sat. Feb. 18 & Sun. Feb. 19, 2012

Come one day or both. What ideas and topics interest you most? Be sure to be there for those sessions.

Mpls Federation of Teachers Headquarters 67 - 8th Ave NE, Minneapolis
(SW of University Ave NE & Broadway: From University Ave. NE, turn west at 8th Ave.

The goals for this event are: (1) to celebrate successes of the movement so
far (2) to process the disappointments and hurt feelings (3) to draw in fresh energy and possibly revive interest among
people who¹ve drifted away; (4) to begin a discussion about what could happen in the spring; and (5) to have fun!

facilitated by Betsy Raasch-Gilman and a team of TfC-related trainers

Saturday: Special call out to anyone who was at the Plaza this past
fall/winter.
Sunday: All invited. Newcomers to Occupy are especially invited.

12:30 pm Short presentation by Ricardo Levins Morales and discussion
on Elements of Building a Healthy Movement
2:30: Approaches to Social Change: How can we fit together?
3:45pm Committees/ Groups meet, and share with newcomers.
5:30-6pm Clean up

Volunteers needed for kid-activities, cooks, set-up and clean-up. Contact
