Moon rocks are coming to town

The MAS (Minnesota Astronomical Society) in cooperation with NASA, invites you to a special exhibit
commemorating the 45th anniversary of the Apollo landings on the moon. The
exhibit will feature a 3.5 billion year old lunar rock returned to earth by
the astronauts of Apollo 15. In addition, there will be displays of Apollo
mission photographs, illustrations, and maps.

The "lunar sample" will be on display at the Eagle Lake Observatory at Baylor Park, Carver Co. on
Saturday July 19 and during our Camping with the Stars event from August
1-3. ($5 parking at the park).

The public Star Party begins at 7:00 pm this Saturday. Don't miss this rare
opportunity to see a part of the moon up close.
