Springfield man found dead in bathroom at Missouri State's Plaster Student Union
A 39-year-old Springfield man was found dead early Friday in the student union on the Missouri State campus, university and police officials confirmed to the News-Leader.
A custodian working an overnight shift at the Plaster Student Union discovered that a stall in a third-floor bathroom was occupied by an unresponsive male.
Springfield police officers were summoned to the student union at 2:20 a.m. Friday — more than three hours after it closed to the public — and found the man was dead.
He was later identified as Brandon Paul Jones and next of kin was notified.
