In St. Louis County, the anti-Stenger primary for county executive begins
Call it the genius primary.
Or the nerd primary.
For sure, it’s the anti-Steve Stenger primary.
In August, it seems, Democrats in St. Louis County will have a choice in deciding who their next county executive is.
The appointed incumbent is Sam Page, an anesthesiologist by profession. Since Stenger got sent to federal prison on corruption charges, Page appears to be approaching the job with the guiding principle of medicine: Do no harm.
