New documents detail aftermath, gunman interactions in Vegas shooting
May 17 (UPI) -- New police documents are shedding more light on the shooting attack that killed 58 people in Las Vegas last fall -- including an interaction between the gunman and a hotel housekeeper.
The records were released Wednesday by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
More than 1,000 pages of documents detail the shooting on the south end of the Las Vegas strip early on Oct. 1. Paddock opened fire on country music concert-goers from a suite at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino
According to the records, shooter Stephen Paddock had made a Mandalay Bay housekeeper uneasy during his stay there.
