DNC bus tour backing Biden agenda ends in Cherry Hill
New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy joined Democratic National Chairman Jaime Harrison and other officials as the DNC’s “”Build Back Better” bus tour ends with a stop in Cherry Hill on Tuesday.
Democratic State Chairman LeRoy Jones, Jr, Rep. Donald Norcross (D-Camden), Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald (D-Voorhees), Cherry Hill Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten at a rally in support of President Joe Biden’s legislative agenda.
“With bold investments in working families and our future, President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda is moving New Jersey forward and ensuring we emerge from this pandemic stronger, fairer, and more resilient than before,” said Murphy. “I am proud to stand with Democratic leaders across the nation in support of taking action to meet this moment and deliver results for the American people.”
The bus tour has made stops in more than ten states.
President Biden’s national approval rating has dropped to the lowest point in his presidency. He’s at about 47% — with recent polling averaged out – and that’s down from 54% in June.
