Gary Johnson supports raising Social Security's retirement age to 72.

Gary Johnson, Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate in New Mexico supported raising Social Security’s retirement age ... to 72.
(Currently the minimum age for full benefits is in the process of rising to 67.)

Marg Elliston, the chairwoman of the state’s Democratic Party, slammed the stance, noting that Johnson, 65, receives $17,760 a year from a state pension fund, according to his personal financial disclosure.

It is not especially surprising that Johnson, whose fiscal policies resemble those of a conservative Republican, would back raising the retirement age. In the same interview in which he discussed Social Security, he endorsed eliminating the federal income tax and “devolving” the federal Medicare and Medicaid to the states.

But Johnson’s Senate campaign website does not include any information about his stances on Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid.

At the end of the campaign. Many people in harder trades can not make it to 67 now, what would they do?

basically robbing us of our retirement security benefits we've paid for to give to the super wealthy for them for giving to their campaigns to get elected for them . Cruz and the bunch were bribed by the wealthy to do this to us, just like with the last tax scam bill they passed to destroy health care for millions of people, and now they want to rob the fund again probably , but they are already doing things to hurt Social Security, and will rob more if they aren't voted out of office. Many have no clue they are actively doing this now, especially those like Ted Cruz. trump could care less other than he wants more for himself , and this helps him and other wealthy people get their tax write offs forever, the rest of us deductions will disappear soon. It was a scam and a con all along from trump and these kgop in Congress. People don't stand up against this soon we'll be like putin has it in russia, where only the most corrupt do well , and everyone else has to bow down to them, and struggles to afford to get by. Corruption steals from the people, like putin has stolen billions from the russian people. and putin is trying to do the same thing here now, and a confirmation of kavanaugh could give him a lot more power using trump now against us even more, and all the American people, and do exactly that.
