Interview: Valerie Plame, candidate for Third Congressional District

In what has quickly become a crowded race, at least half a dozen candidates are vying for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District, which will be vacated by Rep. Ben Ray Lujan as he runs for the U.S. Senate seat to be vacated by Tom Udall's retirement.

There are several qualified minority candidates with roots in the district who have announced and more may do so. I guess she can get the white liberal vote from Santa Fe and the minority vote is split up to win it. I think we need more minorities in Congress, not less, especially from those districts.
