25-Foot Whale Found Dead Near Brooklyn Army Terminal

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A 25-foot whale was found dead in the water near the Brooklyn Army Terminal Monday morning.

The NYPD Harbor Unit found the sei whale around 9:30 a.m.

It was taken to the Army Corps of Engineers facility in New Jersey where the Riverhead Foundation will conduct tests to determine cause of death.
