NYC's St. Vincent's site to open as ER

NEW YORK -- The former St. Vincent's Hospital site in New York City's West Village is slated to open as a stand-alone emergency room and medical care center.

The New York Times (http://nyti.ms/1nCstbK ) says it'll be run by the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.

Dr. Eric Cruzen, the emergency medicine director, says the goal is for all patients to be seen within 15 minutes.
