Bus crashes into scaffolding in Midtown
MIDTOWN (WABC) -- A bus crashed into a scaffolding on West 41st Street and 10th Avenue Thursday morning.
Passengers were on board the bus at the time, but there were no immediate reports of any serious injuries.
The preliminary count is 44 passengers on the bus. Firefighters were talking to them through a window and clearing the scaffolding debris off the bus by hand in anticipation that most passengers will be able to exit through the front door. Some were removed through a window.
At least two passengers exited holding their heads, and they will be taken to the hospital for evaluation.
