Staten Island Woman Finds Wedding Dress Lost After Superstorm Sandy

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A Staten Island woman has been reunited with her wedding dress that she thought was lost in Superstorm Sandy.

Nicole Pagliaro brought her dress to Hector Pacheco’s dry cleaning store after her wedding in 2012. She later learned that the business was destroyed by flood waters and assumed her dress was lost forever.

But it turns out the gown survived.

“Like 95 percent of the stuff got damaged from the water, except that dress because we left that dress in the box,” Pacheco told 1010 WINS.
