David Cassidy to enter DWI plea

SCHODACK – The lawyer for singer David Cassidy will enter a plea on behalf of the entertainer in town court Wednesday to settle DWI charges Cassidy got nearly a year ago on Columbia Turnpike, according to court officials.

Anyone planning to get a glimpse of a former teen idol is out of luck and would be better off trying the Saratoga Race Course.

Cassidy will not appear in court. His local attorney Lucas Mihuta will simply hand Schodack Town Justice Bruce J. Wagner legal papers Cassidy has signed agreeing to a misdemeanor plea in the case and a sentence and agreeing to allow his lawyer to appear in his absence.

"He's concerned about the crush of media detracting from the seriousness of the matter," Mihuta has said.

Poor sad little man thinks he is still famous. I hope he has not inherited his father's condition (bipolar) but if so he needs to get help and soon.
