Hillary Clinton's book-signing draws nearly 1,200 to Spa City bookstore

Christina Scanlon

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- The line formed early, snaking around the block, as 1,175 attendants with copies of Hillary Clinton’s “Hard Choices” in hand awaited her arrival.

The former secretary of state, U.S. senator and first lady was set to sign books for ticket-holders at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.

She arrived early and appeared to guests on the second floor of Northshire Bookstore on Broadway, greeting those gathered with a brief hello.

“I’m going to sign some books,” she said before starting.
