Upstate NY town warns residents of possible mountain lion in the area

https://www.newyorkupstate.com/outdoors/2019/06/upstate-ny-town-warns-residents-of-possible-mountain-lion-in-the-area.html

An Upstate New York town is using social media to warn its residents about reports of what some are calling a mountain lion in the area.

“We have received information from residents that there have been sightings of a mountain lion in the vicinity of Coons Crossing (in) the northern part of Halfmoon," the town of Halfmoon posted on its Facebook page. “We would just like to alert everyone to please be aware for the safety your families and pets.” Halfmoon is located in Saratoga County.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s office shared the posting on its Facebook page as well.
