We have received information from residents that there have been sightings of a mountain lion in the vicinity of Coons Crossing (in) the northern part of Halfmoon," the town of Halfmoon posted on its Facebook page. We would just like to alert everyone to please be aware for the safety your families and pets. Halfmoon is located in Saratoga County.
The Saratoga County Sheriffs office shared the posting on its Facebook page as well.

I'm further down in the HV region and we had been plagued with coyotes for a couple yrs. Here's one bobcats from down our way.
