We had the same situation, 2 weeks ago and ended up with close to 24 inches. No snow falling in my part of Michigan, tonight. Our next snow is set for Saturday but they're not giving any accumulation forecast so I'm guessing it won't be a big storm.

Our last two storms have surpassed the forecasts, by a substantial amount. From now on I'm going to plan for the worst, and then some.

I read today that each team only received 17,000 tickets. That means 46.000 corporate shills. If it is really cold, expect to see a lot of empty seats. Great article in the NY times today about how quiet the stadium will be due do so many uninvolved ticket holders

Our Sierra Nevada's desperately need it. We've had plenty of below normal temps, but practically no precip or snow.

No rain projected for us through at least April...

I know the really harsh colder weather is coming, so take care. I hope it doesn't linger long.
