Police respond to triple shooting in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Just after 3 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a shooting on 50 Lenox Road near Bedford Avenue in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens section of Brooklyn.

2 male victims, a 25-year-old and a 24-year-old were shot in the chest and are in serious, but stable condition. A 42-year-old male was shot in the neck, and is currently in critical condition. It is unclear whether the victims were targeted, or were hit by stray bullets.

All 3 victims were taken to Kings County Hospital.

The officers who responded to the shooting were shot at by suspects as they fled the scene. No police officers were shot, and no police officers fired shots
