New Yorkers Not Too Impressed With Mayor De Blasio's First Two Months On The Job
BY JENNIFER FERMINO
Just over a third of New Yorkers - 39 percent - approve of Mayor de Blasio's performance in his first two months in office, according to a new poll that came out on Thursday.

Thirty seven percent rated de Blasio as fair and 20 percent thought he was doing poorly, the Wall Street Journal-NBC4 New York-Marist poll found.

Another 5 percent were either uncertain about how to rate him or had never heard of de Blasio.

"He still [has] a lot to do to convince people that he's on top of the managing of the city, and literally making positive changes," Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute For Public Opinion, told the Wall Street Journal. "That's not coming through to people."
