This is so sad!

BY EDGAR SANDOVAL , JOSEPH STEPANSKY , IRVING DEJOHN AND BILL HUTCHINSON / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Mexican immigrant Cecilio Hernandez came here for a better life, but his dreams went up in the East Harlem fireball that killed his wife and daughter and seriously injured his son.

The restaurant worker had already left for his job — and his youngest child, a 4-year-old girl, was at school — when the gas explosion leveled their building Wednesday morning.

Hernandez’s wife, Rosaura Barrios-Vasquez, 44, and his daughter, Rosaura Hernandez, 21, were among at least eight people killed in the earth-rattling blast.

Even after rescue workers pulled the eighth body, a female, from the disaster site at about 6 p.m. Thursday, police sources said as many as three people were still unaccounted for.
