In a rare move, the group of all 50 states' Supreme Court chief justices wrote to SCOTUS, urging them to shoot down the argument NC Republican lawmakers are making--that there should be no checks and balances for election laws--in their "Independent State Legislature" case #ncpol

We have idiotic states congressmen and senators, Trump fanatics. Thank you 49 other state CHief Justices of States. Maybe the Supremes will listen to you. They sure don't listen to me or other little people in the state of NC. With a tad bit of luck and lots of pressure from Blue/Purple NC, maybe we will stop the idiotic State Congressmen and Senators....

They should beware the "unintended consequences" of their radical and extreme rulings, lest they reap more unexpected responses from their fellow Americans.

The fact that ALL fifty states chief justices joined together in the request to the SC is amazing.
May they carefully heed the request. Please!

Anyone know when we may get an answer?

that certain basic things are protected at a minimum.
One of those things is the right to vote which means the Federal courts should strike down laws who's intent is clearly to make it harder to vote.
