His first year was a disaster: 57.58%

Ohio Gov. John Kasich this week reflected on his first year in office, including the humbling repeal of Senate Bill 5 and the creation of thousands of jobs in Ohio. He also outlined his priorities for 2012 during a year-end briefing with reporters at the state-owned governor's mansion in suburban Columbus. Read Plain Dealer reporter Joe Guillen's story here.

The governor said Ohioans next year can expect an aggressive pursuit of the economic benefits of shale gas, reform of the state's workforce development programs and the rollout of another policy-driven budget plan.
...
But Democrats made it clear they're not going to let Kasich off the hook for his support of SB 5.

"Rather than bringing our state together to solve problems, John Kasich has alienated and vilified Ohioans who disagree with him," Ohio Democratic Party spokesman Seth Bringman said in a statement. "Unless Governor Kasich reaches across the aisle and stops attacking Ohio's workers, he will spend the next three years as a lame duck."
