Ohio bill would require all county sales tax increases to go before voters

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A new Ohio General Assembly bill would require all county sales tax increases to go before the public for a vote - a proposal that has counties nervous as funds have been cut and needs have increased.

Sales taxes are a county's No. 1 source of revenue, said Jon Honeck of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio.
