Joe the Plumber: “I’m dressing up like a Congressman for Halloween!”

Samel Wurzelbacher, otherwise known as “Joe the Plumber,” announced today that he promises to dress up “like a Congressman for Halloween.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time Joe has impersonated characters that he never was in real life — such as a licensed plumber, a small businessman, or Mr. Clean. But his statement today was the first indication from his campaign that he wants to actually look like a politician, in addition to just pretending to be one.

He made the statement in an email sent to his supporters in which he talked about the high price of gasoline, the latest disappointing jobs report, and fashion.
