COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Another 2020 festival has been canceled due to the ongoing pandemic.

The annual Jazz & Rib Festival, which ABC 6/FOX 28 is a media sponsor, will not take place in 2020. Festival organizers shared it will return in 2021.

I'm a long term member of the Columbus Blues Alliance, the Jazz & Rib Fest got local talent viewed by national musicians & agents. That lack of exposure is going to ripple through our society for years.

And the money that the local acts got, that is going to hurt them.

Just the way it is. We had events cancelled here. I just don’t think emotions should play a part. They’ll have it next year.
