Sherrod Brown: Support David Pepper
Dear Cirque du So-What,
I want to introduce you to my good friend David Pepper.
David did great things as a Cincinnati City Council member and Hamilton County Commissioner, helping lead that corner of Ohio to a decade-long revitalization that is still taking place. He’s been one of the leading voices over the past few years against the terrible decisions coming out of Columbus—from Senate Bill 5, to endless cuts to schools and public safety budgets.
Right now, David is running for Ohio Attorney General. And today, I’m writing to ask you to support his campaign.
David needs our help to build his grassroots network. Can you contribute $5 or more to help him out?
As David and I talk to Ohio voters, it’s clear that they expect their Attorney General to be their advocate. David is laying out a vision for the Attorney General’s office that will play a positive, proactive role in moving Ohio forward on all fronts—protecting and representing Ohio, its communities and families.
David is committed to fighting for Ohio families and children, Ohio consumers, Ohio seniors and Ohio’s middle class. He will use the many tools of the office to push for safe streets, good jobs, and revitalized communities.
Unfortunately, David’s opponent seems to have a different view of the job, and who he represents. Rather than fighting for everyday Ohioans, too often he appears to be fighting for the extreme elements of his party at the expense of everyday Ohioans.
If you want an Attorney General more interested in fighting for you than for a right-wing political agenda, then join me in supporting David Pepper’s grassroots efforts. Give $5 or more today.
We need an Attorney General who knows that his first and most important job is to fight for and represent the people of Ohio. And that’s why I’m thrilled to be supporting David Pepper for Ohio Attorney General.
