2016 Republican convention in Ohio?

anyone know anything? I caught a online story about this....the idea of Rs meeting in Columbus makes me wanna vomit.

Didn't they have the convention in Colorado in 2012? Didn't help.

At least according to the article I read in the local paper last week. I'm not holding my breath either way.

have ideas of bidding for one or both of the conventions.
Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.
It takes money up front, and assurances that adequate accommodations and security can be provided, among other things.
The Repubs are planning to have their convention early, like in June or July.
