Six Republicans, two Democrats file for vacant Broken Arrow House seat

Six Republicans and two Democrats have filed for the Aug. 8 special election primary for state House District 76.

Broken Arrow-based HD 76 became vacant earlier this year with the death of Republican Rep. David Brumbaugh. The district is bounded mostly by Albany (61st) and New Orleans (101st) streets and Garnett Road and Elm Place (161st East Avenue).
