U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorses Kendra Horn for re-election

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorsed Rep. Kendra Horn on Tuesday, giving the Oklahoma City Democrat a boost from a traditionally conservative organization as she heads into the fall re-election campaign.

Horn said the endorsement “means I’ve delivered on my promise to bring both parties together in support of Oklahoma’s businesses and economic opportunity in our state. I fought to save small businesses during the pandemic and hosted a job fair to connect Oklahomans with dozens of local employers.

“In Congress, I work with business and industry leaders from aerospace to health care to oil and gas to support our diverse economy.”

Horn received an overall score of 87% earlier this year from the Chamber based on her votes, her leadership and bipartisanship. She scored higher overall than both of Oklahoma’s senators and two of the Republican House members from Oklahoma, primarily because her leadership and bipartisanship scores were better.
