GOP lands Peter DeFazio challenger

"Springfield Mayor Sid Leiken announced Tuesday that he would run against DeFazio, who was elected to the seat in 1986 and has never won reelection with less than 61 percent."

It's easy to come across a story like this while you're just noodling around and not notice the date. I've often wondered why websites like CNN or MSNBC have links at the bottom of a current news article to an old story--I've had some moments that way until I catch the date.

Much as I wish Peter was my rep, not sure I would want to live among the residents in District 4 who seem to find Art appealing. They would make me very-very nervous!
