Synopsis: For saving medicare, social security, pensions, and, presumably medicaid, too.
For: seperation of church and state, although personally opposed to abortion supports choice.
For: background gun checks
For: government doing the things only govts can do
Likes: business tax cuts, not much of the rest of GOP tax scam
Against: assault weapons ban, Pelosi as leader
I don't agree with all of it, but he does seem to study issues and can explain his positions and votes so far.

(15,265 posts)I've had more Rothfus robocalls asking for my opinion in the last few months than in his entire tenure in office before the new map was drawn.
Today I got a robocall survery from Rothfus. It asked 3 questions about the tax cut, 1 about gov't regulation and 2 about immigration. From that I inferred Rothfus plans to run on the tax that helped few of his new constituents, the usual GOP overbearing gov't lie and appealing to the GOP base's innate bigotry and racism.
