Pittsburghers are sometimes called Yinzers - but never Yunzers.

Other than that, I don't really know which is correct.

(with Charlie Bronson before Charlie enlisted in WWII). And he farmed, too.

He didn't get rid of the stripped model T for a tractor until my dad enlisted for Korea. The T didn't have brakes so my dad and uncles would have to get in front of it with a concrete block to stop it.

We had a world class sledding hill and all the woods you'd need for a childhood's adventure.

Life was good. But for my grandfather finally dying of black lung after he finally had to leave the farm, it was a charmed life. Thank G*d for Jock Yablonsky and the UMW.

Or was it Strongstown...... I forget.. Long time ago in a far away place. He worked in the wheel plant for Bethlehem Steel.. Management and republican. My father was Brooklyn/liberal/Union.
They would have some knock down arguments especially when the Iron City and Canadian club was flowing. And in the end they were best of friends. God I miss those days. You could disagree but still be friends...

personal. As kids we'd go into the taverns on the weekends for sausage and potatoes, or perogi with the grown ups and we'd dring orange pop. What great memories, and the weddings and the Church Saints' days celebration where the nuns used to win the biug prizes - the fur coat or the trip to Florida.

Wonderful, wonderful days. Thank yuse for the nudge down memory lane! Yuse - the singular of yunz.
