PBS' Independent Lens documentary on Krasner
Last night Independent Lens had the first 2 parts of its documentary on current Phila DA Larry Krasner.
Quite a change after Lynn Abraham who believed in over-charging and seeking the death penalty as often as possible and the faux-reformer and ultimately corrupt Seth Williams. Krasner came in like a bull in a china shop with a my-way or highway philosophy.
Phila LE is apoplectic with the FOP using all the political power it has against Krasner's reforms. Krasner won in a landslide in 2017 and is up for re-election in Nov. He has a primary opponent, a former prosecutor, Carlos Vega, who is backed by the FOP and its allies.
