PA Dems? Keep PA Blue? Other?

Due to various factors--serious illness & the pandemic being chief among them--my husband and I are in a less than prosperous financial phase (unlikely to improve substantially any time soon, if ever.) Still, I'd like to donate something to a PA progressive group. Anyone have knowledge if any of the ones I mentioned are a better bet to help us keep that R wolves at bay?

1. Us senate. Connor Lamb is a middle of the road democrat. Doubt he would be as conservative as manchi

But he also might be the safest bet as far as us senate candidates go. There are also a number of other great candidates running afaik, but if I were to make a bet on anybody it would be Connor Lamb. The dscc is also probably a decent investment.

In edit I think the lt governor John fetterman is also a top democrat who is running in the primary.

2. That was my understanding regarding Lamb, though I'd not heard much about him lately.

I agree about Fetterman. I gave to Malcolm Kenyetta's campaign a few times early in the race, but it seems Fetterman is the more realistic bet.

The standard progressive vs moderate debate. I don't care which one, we just need the seat

They play nice. We can't afford to mess this race up with an ugly primary.

I sent some money to Lamb even though I'm more left-leaning.

Here's a great article from Jan 5th on Lamb's Union endorsements.
*Also with today's endorsement by Mayor Kenney, Lamb will only build solid from there.

Jan 5th/The Inquirer
"Philly building trades unions back Conor Lamb in Democratic primary for U.S. Senate"
The congressman from suburban Pittsburgh just planted his Senate campaign flag firmly in Philly with big union endorsements here.

*U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb, a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate from the suburbs of Pittsburgh, planted a pair of political flags — geographical and ideological — in Southeastern Pennsylvania Wednesday.

"Lamb was unanimously endorsed by the *Philadelphia Building & Construction Trades Council, *30 labor unions in the city and surrounding suburbs with the political heft to help his campaign with manpower and money."

Conor Lamb will pick up #PASen endorsements this week from Philly Mayor Kenney, Council member Curtis Jones and others in the city, per a source familiar with the plans.
