Related: About this forumUpdated timeline of the Sandusky Scandal - Early 2009 - Corbett Given Responsibility to Investigate
http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2013/01/timeline_of_sandusky_sex_abuse.html#incart_river_defaultNow our illustrious Governor is back in the headlines, belatedly fighting the NCAA penalty against Penn State in the courts, after he failed to do anything over the past year as a PENN STATE BOARD MEMBER. Corbett could have insisted that the Penn State Board of Trustees approve the NCAA agreement, and could have sought changes at that time. Instead, he waits until many months after the penalty agreement was put into effect. I predict the courts will refuse to get involved in a private contract between two entities.
To recognize the occasion, the Harrisburg paper has published a detailed chronology of the events, including information that was not previously assembled in one place.

when he became Governor. Hush money to Sandusky most likely.

I never believed Sandusky was alone in the molesting of the children.

Attorney General Corbett.
Hard to believe that doesn't smell bad to more people.

(112,920 posts)7. I certainly hope he gets raked over the coals. Imagine if some of those victims HAD followed through
with suicide because of Corbett being in control of their case against Sandusky.
Tempest
(14,591 posts)8. Kane ran and won on the platform of investigating Corbett
It appears many PA residents also want to get to the bottom (pun unintended) of his complicity in the crimes.
blm
(112,920 posts)2. Corbett should be sued for ignoring charges. Some victims became suicidal because of his inaction,
feeling they were not believed and would never receive justice.
