Long article but worth the read. "Pipeline" is a feature of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette which is a bright spot in an otherwise mostly bleak landscape of journalism.

This may have been mentioned in the fracking thread at the top, but I don't think people check there so often.

Revolving door of DEP employees giving industry-written reports, then getting jobs with the drilling companies. Someone in the article recommends a two year moratorium on this practice; I say forever. No representatives from the DEP present at the hearing, what does that tell you?!

And it goes further back than fracking----the mining division of DEP was totally pro-mining as well.
