50,000 Public Sector Jobs (Mainly in Public Schools) Eliminated in PA Since Corbett Took Office

It also found that 45,000 public sector jobs had been eliminated during calendar years 2011 and 2012. The details are in Appendix A of the report. In addition, at least 5,000 jobs in public schools have been eliminated this year (including 4,000 in Philadelphia alone).
