NY Times: Owners of Phila Inquirer at War With Each Other

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/14/business/media/philadelphia-newspapers-owners-at-war.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

Part of the problem is they allowed New Jersey political boss Norcross to have too much power. He put his young inexperienced daughter in charge of the website, which resulted in some questionable decision-making. Then, Norcross ordered the paper's respected chief editor fired, without pre-approval from the other partners, who are now suing Norcross.

The Inquirer has tried to maintain its quality, despite a huge reduction in staff. However, the www.philly.com website had de-evolved under Norcross' 25 year old daughter's control. Here's the TOP headlines from today:

"Real Housewives of NJ Star Announces Exit from Show" (most prominent headline on the whole website)

"Snooki Has Harsh Words for NJ"

"Montco Official in Running for Mustache Honor"

"Video: Watch Kayak, the Adorable Baby Hedgehog Who Wears a Cape"
