3. The Corbett attack ads began before the primary

I hope Mr. Wolf will go on the offensive and call out Corbett for signing a gas tax increase, trying to outsource the PA lottery to a foreign country, dragging his feet regarding Sandusky, fracking accidents, etc.

Did Mr. Wolf's company incorporate in Delaware after he sold it? 2006? What is the best defense for this attack ad?

4. Delaware

Yes, after the Wolf Co was sold, the new investors had it incorporated in Delaware. That is extremely common, because of favorable laws and court systems in Delaware. For example, the Hershey Company and tens of thousands of other companies incorporate in Delaware.

However, the Corbettites accused Wolf of using the Delaware Tax Loophole to avoid PA. taxes. That was a lie. That issue is completely different from incorporation. The Delaware Loophole involves claiming that the profits you made in PA were actually made in Delaware. The Wolf Company pays their fair share of taxes to 36 states, including PA.

7. Corbett is running scared.

He hauled Rick Perry from Texas up here today for some kind of event in Washington County. A sample of their lame dialogue:

"Mr. Corbett tried to portray the York businessman as a threat to the expansion of the state's Marcellus Shale drilling, alluding to the Democrat's proposal to impose a 5 percent severance tax on the value of gas production. That's a levy similar to those imposed by most other gas producing states, including Texas. Mr. Corbett has argued, however, that most of those states do not tax corporations or personal income at the same rate as Pennsylvania."

"He called the opponent who has led him in early polling trial heats, "a blast from the past.''

"He was in the [Rendell] administration as secretary of revenue,'' he said. "He was there at that time and said we need to spend more money. ... He wants to tax this industry more. I think you pay a lot of taxes already.''

"And you pay an impact fee,'' he said, and turning to his GOP colleague, "Governor, you don't have an impact fee in Texas do you?''

Apparently Corbett doesn't realize that he has been absolutely poison to Pennsylvania for the last 4 years.

Rick Perry may appeal to the Tea Party, but that is a group that is losing ground quickly. He will have to do better than that.
