Corbett approves $1.6 Million state grant to his alma mater

While he is leaving the State with a $2 billion deficit because of his budget tricks, Corbett is trying his best to pay off his friends. He just approved a $1.6 million state grant to develop a college admissions center for his alma mater, Lebanon Valley College. This is money that is supposed to be used for urban revitalization projects.

Tom Corbett, the man who destroyed public education at every level in PA, gets his name on a college admissions center.

How sick.

but I'm an alumni of Lebanon Valley College and it is a really great school.

Of course we aren't very proud to say that Corbett also graduated from LVC but well can't win them all.

Also, the State grant standards for this program says that the typical grant is for $250,000 to $500,000. This grant was for over three times that amount.

Yuck Yuck Yuck

Bad enough we share the same college but I like to go into Wiki and remove his name from the list of notable alumni.

I don't want his name on the damn building!

There are state-owned universities that need modern science labs, but instead Corbett spent $1.6 million of tax dollars for an ADMISSIONS building at a private college.

This was actually money from a bond issue, so the total cost to taxpayers with interest will be much higher.
