Is there a PA sales tax in services such as landscaping?
I have a landscaper asking for cash or extra for tax if .I pay by check. No other service person has ever asked fir sales tax,

Any products used would be subject to sales tax, like grass seed.

He worded it as more if I paid by check.
Never had that request from a service provider.

I have sat on our Board (Condo Assn,) have contracted for landscaping and snow removal etc. We pay by check, there has never been any sales tax added to our bill(s).
Services are not taxable in PA e.g. Doctor's fee, Barber, Hairdresser, therapist, Lawyer, etc.
I straightened it out with him . He wanted cash, but he got a check without a charge for tax.

I also have seen sales tax on my RCN (internet) bill, but the sales tax is included in my MetroPCS bill:
