Related: About this forumLast week, I registered to vote in PA (Butler County). A question..
Is it possible to vote a straight party ticket without
checking every Dem candidate. I could when I lived
in Alabama and saved a LOT of time. Thanks in advance!

(18,219 posts)But make sure that it works ok. Ever since the first year they used the machines, I have gone through the whole ballot because they had some problems with candidates not getting votes when people marked straight tickets. I am sure that they have fixed this glitch, but I don't trust them. Also, there are some positions, like US Rep, that don't have a Democratic candidate (Mike fucking Kelly is unopposed). When that happens, I like to write in someone. Anyone. I just have to make sure that I register my dissatisfaction at having no choice.
I believe that you are in the 3rd Congressional District as well (I am north of you). Opposing Mike Kelly is a write in campaign (or at least there was one but it didn't go far). Write in "Ron DiNicola" from Erie unless someone else comes out.
