The state has accepted a bid for the former Youth Development Center from a consulting firm for Islamic schools.

Hira Educational Services of North America, which lists an address in Newark, New Jersey, offered $400,000, the highest of three bids received for the Frew Mill Road property that has been vacant since the school for juvenile offenders closed in 2013.

Full-time employees at the New Jersey office are listed on Hira's website. They include the president and founder, listed on two different pages of the website by different names: Muhammad Asif and as Asif Kunwar. The vice president is listed as Abdul Basit. Adjunct staff members are located regionally throughout the U.S., according to the website.

Despite the significant Syrian population in this Trump-loving county, my enlightened fellow residents are predictably up in arms about this. Though they haven't quite stated it outright, they're likely certain that the place will be a secret ISIS training facility visited weekly by Hillary Clinton and other evil types in order to implement worldwide Sharia law.

I for one am thrilled. This is a large facility that's done nothing but gather dust for over four years.
