One dead, 3 wounded in shooting at Arlington bar parking lot

ARLINGTON -- One man was shot to death early Sunday and three other people were wounded in the parking lot of an Arlington billiards club after a man opened fire at a group of people, Arlington police said.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Ketron Nathan, 24, of Arlington, who died at an Arlington hospital.

The conditions of the other three people were unavailable Sunday afternoon, but authorities said they did not believe their injuries were life-threatening. Authorities also had not released their names.

Arlington police responded to a call about a shooting at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Majesty Drive at Jumbo Pockets Sports Bar and Billiards in Arlington, just east of Texas 360.

One never knows when a trivial matter can turn into an opportunity to kill somebody. Carpe diem, as it were.
