State Rep. Naomi Gonzalez sentenced to 15 days in jail in DWI crash
A Travis County judge on Friday sentenced state Rep. Naomi Gonzalez, D-El Paso, to 15 days in jail in a drunken driving crash in March 2013 that injured a bicyclist in South Austin.
Gonzalez pleaded no contest to the DWI charge, a class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail. Judge Carlos Barrera found her guilty. She is expected to begin serving her sentence Friday afternoon.
Gonzalez was solemn and cried a little in court, saying she was sorry after the victim, a teacher, gave her statement of impact, Barrera said. She showed some contrition, he said.
Austin police have said Gonzalez, 35, drove her BMW into the rear of another car that then struck a bicyclist on Congress Avenue near Barton Springs Road. Preliminary tests taken shortly after the incident showed the representative had a blood-alcohol level of 0.164 more than twice the legal limit, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The article states that she had two drinks before she went driving. Two drinks--0.164 BAC--the math doesn't seem to add up here.
