Six men arrested for alleged rape of girl in Waco
WACO -- Six men were arrested Thursday for the alleged rape of a girl under the age of 16.
Police said the girl was brought into Providence Hospital on April 23 after she had been sexually assaulted.
Officers learned that she had skipped school earlier in the day and left with several people she knew, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
The suspects allegedly took her to a North Waco home, where they and several others raped her, Swanton said.
