Shooting reported at El Paso Community College Northwest campus
A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting after he returned to the Northwest campus of El Paso Community College, officials said.
One student at El Paso Community College shot at another during a fight in a parking lot of the Northwest campus, officials said.
No one was hurt and EPCC police said the fight involved three people, two men and a woman.
The fight took place at about 1 p.m. in the West Parking Lot A of the campus, 6701 North Desert. One of the students fired a round at the other student, said Ernst Roberts, vice president of Administration and Financial Operations. The shot missed the student.
The intended victim is still on campus and being interviewed by EPCC police. The shooter fled, Roberts said.
