Killeen ISD responds to bullying case at school (13-yr-old boy threatens to rape 11-yr-old girl)

KILLEEN -- A Fort Hood mother is demanding answers, accountability and an apology from school officials after she said her 11-year-old daughter received a threat of sexual assault from an older student.

“I’m having a sit-down with the school (today),” said Jessica Lux, who recently moved with her family to Fort Hood. Her daughter attends Smith Middle School.

Killeen Independent School District officials confirmed they are aware of and are responding to the bullying incident Friday at the school at Fort Hood.

Lux said her daughter was on her way to the bathroom Friday when a 13-year-old boy told her: “Hey, blueberry, I’m going to rape you.”

parent or guardian. Verbal assault is a minor crime. IMO, the police should have been called to come up to the school, to talk with the boy and his parents, and the girl and her mother in separate conversations.

I would like to know the circumstances of why the boy was out in the hall too. Did a male or female, classmate of the girl, text the boy in another classroom so he could confront her in the hall, or was it coincidence? Bullying can be a bad problem if the administration is allowing it.
